Actually, we love the music and the showmanship but the 2 star "I don't like it" rating is because the DVD worked once and won't play anymore. I've tried it in 3 different DVD players, including a brand new one. The one time we were able to watch it the DVD was very grainy and I worry it was some kind of pirated copy.

Raffi helps you sing to your baby - Adorable and babies love it!

Raffi at his simple, original, addictive best. It is wonderful that a singer songwriter with this level of talent chose to dedicate his skills to the entertainment and teaching of children. When I became a new mother, I was thrilled, but I did not know any singable songs to soothe my baby while I bathed him or rocked him, or waited in the car. These songs will carry you from infancy through kindergarten. Beautifully done. Very catchy!

My son is OBSESSED with Raffi. He only says a few words at 16 months, but one of them is "Raf, Raf?" I honestly don't get why a grainy 1984 children's concert of a 30-something-year-old guy playing a guitar is so captivating to him, but it is. The songs are catchy and I find myself humming them around the house. Our babysitter raised her kids in the '80s with Raffi, which is why she gave us this DVD. It's especially been helpful on days when he's whiney and having tantrums. It's like an instant reset button. He bops around and does the ...

My daughter loves Raffi. He seems to be able to engage the children on their level. Anyone with a small child would do well to have this.

My 18 month old grandson is completely captivated (I'm talking hypnotically mesmerized) by Raffi but the digital quality of this dvd is very grainy and unacceptable as far as I'm concerned, but it will be played several dozen times this year I'm certain.

Great for little ones

My son loves this video so much, it's great for letting him watch on long trips or when I'm making dinner (and he is too interested in the oven), he loves singing along with the kids on screen. He will say "Mama, Waffi? Waffi?" and since's he's not quite two, that's a strong endorsement!
