Batkid Begins takes audiences back to November 15th, 2013 - the day San Francisco became Gotham City and an intense outpouring of spontaneous support reverberated around the world. On one day, in one city, the world came together to grant one 5-year-old his wish. That little boy was Miles Scott, who is recovering from leukemia, and dreamed of becoming Batkid. A simple wish, which started with the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation, grew into people around the world actively cheering Miles on including President Obama and on-screen superhereos. I was driving truck, working in SF when this happened. I wasn't in the downtown area where this took place but remember listening to the radio news station do a play by play. This movie brings back fun memories

Nice story

This is a cute movie, and it is lovely that the city, and Make a Wish did that. I wouldn't say that I found this movie as compelling as some reviewers.

I have watched this movie 4 times and the last time I made my boyfriend watch it with me. What I love about it is that it renews my hope that most people are trying to do the right thing if given motivation. I think we all become disconnected sometimes and this movie reminds the viewer how thousands of people can come together and be excited to make a sick child's dream come true. It pulled everyone out of their daily life to come together to make something positive happen. It's an inspiring movie that reminds you to recognize and appreciate the blessings in your life.

It is a very inspirational video showing how much heart people really have by coming together, in community, to fulfill a child's wish. The joy in giving a special day to one child was contagious and totally feel good. If only we can express that show of love everyday to one another.
