August, 1976. Three boys driving an isolated stretch of road encounter a Bigfoot with glowing, red eyes. They report it to local police who go on to have a sighting of their own. This is the incredible, true story of the Abair Incident. Beast of Whitehall also explores the impact Bigfoot has had on the regional culture of the Adirondacks, and upstate New York.

Not Bad, But Not Great

I heard an enjoyable interview with the director, Seth Breedlove, on Jim Harold's Paranormal Podcast. Believe me, I wanted to love this film. The interview was compelling, interesting, and very well articulated. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for this documentary. While the facts of the documentary are compelling and well-presented, the overall thrust and execution of the movie is somewhat, well, boring. I'm a huge Bigfoot fan. I wanted to be into this movie. As a listener, I felt a true connection to Breedlove when I heard him speak on Jim Harold's podcast, but it truly was a chore to get through this movie. With that said, I think Breedlove ...

an average take on a small town bigfoot like creature

it is a very amateurish movie. I heard the filmmaker in one of the podcast and thought I would give this a try but the film making is really bad. Most of the scene that are shot with handheld camera are very shaky and almost headache inducing. The camera also kept going in and out of focus. You could also see dust on the camera sensor. The filmmaker should really try a little bit harder to get the cinematography a little better. The subject is rather mundane and consists of some interviews with the native. Much of it sis not make much sense.

I believe

Very good documentary with the actual people that have witnessed the sighting, also done well by showing actual sites where these events occurred.

This was well done documentary with extensive interviews of actual eye witnesses. Whitehall is a little know and little investigated account of Bigfoot sightings.
