Overwhelming Boredom

Spoiled kid with a golden parachute tells us all how rough he's had it while he vacations in Italy.

Very Inspiring!

I finally got a chance to see The Dwarvenaut documentary. It was a great look into the life of artist Stefan Pokorny. I found the film to be inspiring. I admire his passion for Dungeons & Dragons and his artistry with the Dwarven Forge miniatures. The miniatures are beyond beautiful and you get some fantastic cinematography showcasing them in the film. If you are an artist, D&D player, or a fan of great art I'd recommend checking it out.

A fascinating peek into a wonderfully whimsical yet profound career.

I picked this gem up on Blu-ray at Gen Con. It is a glimpse into the fantastic journey that brought about one of the Dwarven Forge kickstarters and a surprisingly intimate look into the past of Stefan Pokorny, the creative force and owner of the company. It took turns being goofy, revealing, bizarre, and quixotic; but it was entertaining throughout! Even my wife, who has nothing to do with the hobby thus far, enjoyed it.

Stefan narrates his journey himself as he goes through various tasks and life events. It is fantastic to watch him pull up to a small and unassuming house and treat it with the reverence normally reserved for the destination at the end of a religious pilgrimage. The sheer awe and reverence he gives to the former home of Gary Gygax, creator of D&D, is rivaled only by his love of the game. Check this out!

He's a character - and his story is worth watching.

Saw it at a premier event - this man is the real deal. He has brought a new level of excitement to the game, the industry and everyone he meets. Totally worth watching.
