This animated film masterpiece (original title: Le Roi et L'oiseau) based on a classic Hans Christian Andersen tale tells the exciting story of a young shepherdess who's in love with a charming chimney sweep. But trouble intervenes when a tyrannical king desires the beautiful maiden for himself. Now the only way for the lovers to escape the evil monarch is with help from a magical talking mockingbird in this family-friendly film that inspired Hayao Miyazaki to create the famous Studio Ghibli.
