Reviews about The Legend of Atilla: The Musical

The Legend of Atilla: The Musical
El Jefe
Wet Dreams

I tell you this movie was obliteratingly wipe me off the face of the earth entertaining! This is not your typical Regal theatres movie where the movie is spelled out for you.. Ohh no no no.. This intellectually written musical keeps you wanting more.. I've seen it over 37 times now!! I just can't watch it before bed anymore. The first time I ever watched this genius display of a musical, I did not realize what a treat I was in for and neither did my bed sheets. Lets just say this movie was soo hilarious that I woke up the next morning in a puddle!! No pun intended ;)

I recommend this movie with 5 stars!!!

Unsung heroes

This movie is a classic for the whole family, and there's something in it for everybody. Lots of action, a complex love story, and razor-sharp cracks kept me watching in between the songs, which are the lifeblood of the story. If you buy this film, you're in for a wild ride that doesn't get tame after multiple viewings (I've watched it three or four times now.)

The only real drawback is the lack of attention to detail in some areas, i.e., the harmonica, or the wedding, without giving away too many spoilers. If you're into indie films though, this shouldn't be a problem.

In terms of special effects, TLoA is no Avatar but the innovations made for working with such a small budget are worth seeing in and of themselves. That small budget is the reason most people haven't seen it yet, Guglielmo didn't have the means to put out a big publicity campaign. That said, this is one of the best new movies around for a measly $10.00, and if you like musicals you won't be disappointed!

The Legend of Atilla: The Musical
My God in Heaven

At long last, the greatest musical ever made is available on Amazon. I first encountered this masterpiece of American cinema whilst wandering the streets of downtown Monterey Bay, having no possessions but the clothes on my back and a half-empty 40 oz bottle of malt liquor. After a brief yet lively conversation with some officers of the police, I walked toward the local grocery store with the hopes of using what spare change I had to acquire some orange juice to fill up the rest of my bottle. I stopped before reaching the store, due to the shining silver halo emitting from the gutter below my feet. It was a DVD. Looking back on it now, this was probably the single most important moment of my entire life. I wiped the gutter water off and put it in my cargo pants.

The next thing I knew, I woke up facedown on the carpet of a rather luxurious and rustic Bay Area home. As I looked up I saw before me nothing short of a divine gift: a big-screen television set. I put the DVD into the player, curious as to what exactly an "Atilla" was. What followed was thirty minutes of the most earth-shattering, mind-bending, erection-inducing, globe-trotting entertainment this mortal has ever laid eyes on. I literally defecated in ecstasy on the spot. After the movie was over, I went to replay it again, but was unfortunately interrupted by cries from upstairs of, "Who are you? What are you doing? Why does it smell like feces in here?" Needless to say, I ran, losing my holy grail of filmic entertainment. Since then, I have checked Amazon every day for a copy to appear. Here it is. There is a God.

Billy Joel talks life & music in revealing interview

“As Clint Eastwood put it (in the 1973 movie 'Magnum Force'): 'A man's gotta know his limitations.'” Joel's only post-1993 album, 2001's “Fantasies & Delusions: Music for Solo Piano,” was an all-instrumental collection with a clear stylistic debt to ...
