Gives a picture of the sad state of maternity/infant care in the USA. Encouraging breastfeeding and keeping moms and babies together not only promotes health (form mom and baby), but also saves potentially billions of dollars in not utilizing breast milk substitutes (formula) + fewer sick days

Must see for pregnant first time mothers.

It is so sad that we still have a long way to go in the US and in other countries. I gave birth abroad and had an emergency c-section. I was denied the right to see my baby and have skin to skin contact. My baby was in the NICU for a week, so for a week no skin to skin and that affected the lactation process. I thought that was tough, but breastfeeding has been a whole other ordeal. There needs to be more support worldwide for mothers during and after the birthing process. This documentary demonstrates what needs to change and gives examples of how it should be and is being done in countries like Germany and Sweden.

Very informative and influential. I think every new mom should watch. However, please take all this info with a grain of salt. There is no shame in using formula if you have to.
