Pleasantly Surprised.

I really enjoyed this movie. I have watched quite a few independent movie efforts and found most lacking greatly in many areas. Mr. Stiles did a great job with limited resources. The actors did a wonderful job and I could tell they were having a good time while making the movie. (I wish I was there!) The story line went smoothly with an ending that wrapped up nicely. Keep up the good work!

With only a $10k budget, this filmmaker did an excellent job with his resources; including the cast that he assembled. The film was both funny and on occasion, a bit sobering. In that, while a bit of fantasy was apparent, it hit home as quite real and the things that people go thru everyday; except for the elephant gun, Nicely lit and shot... I enjoyed watching it a great deal. Kudos James Stiles, cast and crew.

Right here in River City (or perhaps Augusta-Hallowell)

It is lots of fun seeing the street I walk on most weeks be the backdrop for a nice piece of fun fantasy. The movie has a nice texture and the plot twists more than you expect from the early set-up. It's easy to identify with the characters, and they play out their roles nicely. Glad to see a made-in-Maine movie make it to Amazon.

Even Pirates love the movie!!

Okay so, This is the Rockland Pirate but, I had to write under my lovely's account because we watched it under her account (good job amazon). We thought the movie was awesome and had a really great concept. The psycho politician was my favorite cuz you could just tell the dude was completely bonkers! I love the idea of aspiring actors coming together and creating a great project in this great state of Maine. We have some amazing talent here and its about time someone highlights that and has the balls to put a decent project out there. I enjoyed the originality of it as well as the original music scenes. Good acting and all around project. Well done! Lets get Maine out there! ARRR mateys I love you all and come to the chowder house next time your in Rockland! <3 <3 <3

Perfect Date Night Movie!

Clearly a labor of love made with giddy cartoonishness, WEBGIRL is an indie treat that gleefully reminds us of a more innocent time when films focused on the lighter side of life and its characters. WEBGIRL is pure escapism highlighted by a pitch perfect performance by its writer/director James Stiles as an unlikeably vindictive politician. Supported by an all around enthusiastic cast and authentic Maine locations, this indie is not to be missed.

Web Girl Review !

I love this movie! I just ordered from Amazon and it came in a few days, quick shipping. The film is action packed and fun filled Character deep comedy that you can get into as soon as it starts and it takes you on a exciting ride. You can relate to a lot of these characters in the film because they are people that we know, that we went to high school with and the trappings of the small. You find yourself rooting for the heroes in this film. And the writing is great, funny exciting plot twists that leave you surprised and laughing on the edge of your seat! Buy the film, put it in your DVD collection because there will be stars for sure that will be rising in Hollywood from this film...
